At All Shook Up, we're passionate about teaching traditional four-step rock 'n' roll from the 1950s in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our studio is dedicated to providing high-quality dance lessons in various styles of swing, including Balboa, slow swing, and swing jive. Our Approach
Our principal instructor, Gary Haigh, is an associate level three instructor with the Australian Rock 'n' Roll Dancesport Council (ARRDC) and a founding member of the New South Wales Rock n Roll Association. With his expertise and guidance, our students can expect a supportive and encouraging learning environment. Our teaching assistants are friendly and approachable, with a wealth of practical dance experience. We cater to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced dancers, and offer generous discounts to members who participate in multiple lessons per week.
Our Services
At All Shook Up, we offer a range of services to suit your dance needs. Our weekly dance lessons are conducted at Telarah Bowling Club, Clark Street, Telarah, and Newcastle venue (temporarily on hold). We provide lessons in rock 'n' roll, slow rhythm, and swing jive, as well as social gatherings on and off the dance floor. Our studio is certified to work with children, and we offer excellent tuition for kids at our regular evening venues or at schools throughout the Hunter Valley.
