DanceXtreme

At DanceXtreme, we pride ourselves on being a warm and welcoming dance studio that offers a high standard of tuition in various styles of dance. Our journey began in 1996 as a branch of The Robyn Yvette Dance and Talent Centre (Nelson Bay), and in 1998, we became a standalone studio under the leadership of Libby Blundell. With over 30 years of dancing experience and a background in tap dance, Libby has brought her extensive knowledge and passion to the studio.

Our Philosophy

Our goal is to provide a fun and enjoyable environment where students can learn various styles of dance, build self-confidence, coordination, and poise. We strive to create a sense of community among our students, encouraging them to make new friends and have a great time while learning. Our experienced and qualified teachers are dedicated to inspiring and nurturing every student, regardless of their age or skill level.

Services

We offer a range of dance classes suitable for children of all ages and abilities. Our classes include Tiny Tots, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Boys Hip Hop, Cheerleading, Aerial Silks, and our Performance Troupe. Our Tiny Tots class is designed specifically for young children, focusing on fun and coordination skills. Our ballet classes follow the British Ballet Organisation syllabus, while our jazz and hip hop classes involve learning routines and executing choreographed movements.

Additional Services

We also offer the opportunity to join our Performance Troupe, where students can perform at various events throughout the year. Our troupe is a fun and rewarding experience that allows students to showcase their talents and develop their performance skills. We encourage students to participate in our annual concert, where they can showcase their hard work and achievements.

Uniform and Fees

We have a uniform policy in place to promote a sense of unity and professionalism. We also offer competitive fees for our classes and enrolling packages. We accept Creative Kids and Active Kids vouchers, making dance lessons more accessible to families.
