At Waves of Music, we're passionate about providing high-quality music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. Our mission is to foster a love of music in our students, and to help them develop their skills and confidence through tailored lessons that cater to their individual needs and goals.

Our Story

Waves of Music has been servicing the local community and surrounding areas since 2008, offering one-on-one music lessons in a private studio in Maddingley. Our experienced teacher, Irene, has a Bachelor of Music degree specializing in Pedagogy and a Licentiate of teaching, as well as an Associate Diploma of Piano teaching and a member of the ASMC having an Associate Diploma in Music Education. With a strong musical background and over 50 years of experience, Irene is dedicated to providing exceptional music education to her students.

Our Services

We offer music lessons for students of all ages, from the very young to the mature adult. Our lessons are designed to suit the individual needs and goals of each student, whether they're looking to learn for leisure or prepare for music exams. We also cater to students with special needs, recognizing the therapeutic benefits of music education. Our lessons are conducted in a supportive and encouraging environment, with a focus on building confidence and performance skills.

Examination Options

For students who wish to take their music skills to the next level, we offer examination options through reputable boards such as AMEB, ANZCA, and St Cecilia School of Music. Our expert teacher will guide and support students through the examination process, helping them to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

Online Teaching

In response to the changing climate, we now offer online teaching options, providing students with flexibility and convenience. Our online lessons are conducted in a virtual studio, using state-of-the-art technology to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
