Our principal practitioner, Dr. Sandy Guo, is a registered Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner, as well as an Acupuncturist and herbalist. Dr. Guo comes from a family of Chinese medical professionals and has been heavily influenced by her father, a well-renowned medical professor in China. She has completed her Clinical Internship in a prestigious hospital in China, where she gained first-hand experience from top professors and doctors. In Australia, she has been working in a busy Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic for over a decade, taking charge of herbal dispensing and gaining insightful knowledge in traditional herbal medicine.
Dr. Guo has completed her Bachelor Degree of Applied Science in Chinese Medicine and has a large theoretical knowledge base of the benefits of Chinese Herbal Medicine, as well as Acupuncture. As a female practitioner, Dr. Guo has focused her study and practice on female conditions. She has completed clinical studies with an experienced Chinese medicine gyneacologist in Melbourne and has gone back to China to sit with front-line Chinese Medicine gyneacologists to learn their experties of treating gyneacological conditions.
