Our Story
Our principal, Murray O'Brien, began his career as an apprentice optical mechanic with Coles and Garrard in Bourke street Melbourne in 1982. He completed his apprenticeship and diploma at the R.M.I.T. in 1986 and has accumulated extensive experience in both manufacturing and retail optical. With over 40 years of experience, Murray has developed a deep understanding of the importance of quality products and exceptional customer service.
Our Services
We offer a comprehensive range of services, including optometry, optical dispensing, and same-day glasses repairs. Our optometrist, Eva Wong, is a graduate of the University of Melbourne with over 20 years of experience in private practice. She is therapeutically qualified and an expert in children's vision care, ensuring that you receive the best possible advice and care.
Our optical dispensing services are designed to provide you with personalized guidance in selecting the perfect frame and lens combination to suit your needs. With a vast range of frames sourced from Europe and Japan, we guarantee that you will find the perfect pair. Our workshop is equipped to handle complex repairs, and we take pride in being able to attend to jobs that many others may not be able to perform.

Review: Murray did a great job with two pairs of glasses. He carefully guided me in the selection of lenses that met my needs - including close up reading of fine detail, computer use and all purpose distance use. The result is the most useful/best fit combination of glasses I've ever had. His craftsmanship is superb too and he has a great range of frames.
