Our Training Programs
At Shindo Karate Association, we offer a range of training programs tailored to suit the needs of students of all ages and fitness levels. Our classes are designed to be enjoyable, empowering, and educational, from as young as 4 years old to 50+ years young.
*Little Ninja Classes:* The Little Ninjas Program is a detailed curriculum that focuses on developing the basic motor and listening skills in children aged 4-6 years. The program aims to build a strong foundation for children to develop their physical, mental, and emotional abilities.
*Kids Karate Classes:* Shindo Karate Association has been helping kids achieve confidence, fitness, and focus that extends far beyond the Karate Dojo. Our Kids Karate Classes are designed to teach children important life skills such as respect, discipline, and focus, in a fun and engaging environment.
*Adult Karate Classes:* Our classes for adults are held in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The instructors and other students will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Our Adult Karate Classes are tailored to suit the needs of beginners and advanced students, and they focus on building strength, endurance, and flexibility.

*Dojo Etiquette:* Karate begins and ends with courtesy and respect. Along with bowing, there are numerous etiquette techniques that are taught during your training. Our instructors will guide you through the proper etiquette and help you understand the significance of each gesture.
*Terminology:* Understanding the terminology we use during a training session will develop over time. This easy-to-understand list will help you to get there faster. Our instructors will help you understand the meaning of each term and its significance in karate.
*Grading Syllabus:* We have developed and perfected a grading syllabus over 30 years to ensure students are always improving and not overwhelmed with each rank. Our grading syllabus is designed to challenge students and help them reach their full potential.
