Who We Are

At APV, we specialize in financial reporting valuations encompassing land, buildings, and infrastructure assets, insurance valuations, and depreciation reviews for public and not-for-profit sector assets. We deliver our valuations in compliance with the International and Australian accounting standards utilizing our patented proprietary software, Asset Valuer Pro, which provides efficient and fast asset valuations as well as compliance with reporting requirements.

Our Expertise

APV is much more than your average valuation firm. We specialize in financial reporting and insurance valuations for the public and not-for-profit sector assets. Our team comprises not only valuers and engineers but also quantity surveyors, accountants, auditors, and software engineers. Additionally, our expertise is internationally recognized through membership of key technical committees and authoring key valuation, asset management, and technical guides for many of the peak bodies.

Our Team

APV has 150 professionals located across Australia, enabling us to deliver even the largest of projects within tight timeframes. The APV team comprises seasoned and specialized accountants, valuers, quantity surveyors, and engineers, and is led by our executive team, David Edgerton and Michelle Cross. Between them, they have more than 50 years' experience and share a hands-on and personal approach, passion for productive client relationships, thirst for innovation, and an unwavering commitment to quality.

In addition to delivering financial reporting and insurance valuations under International and Australian accounting standards, we also provide a range of consulting, accounting advice, training, and special project services. Examples include review of valuation and depreciation methodologies, assessment and development of valuation frameworks, assessment and development of asset management frameworks, implementation of accrual-based accounting standards for developing countries.
