Steve Upton, the Managing Director and Founder of PHD, brings a diverse management background in project, construction management, and fixed price contracting. Our administration systems and best practice processes enable us to manage numerous concurrent projects effectively. Some of our notable projects include:

• Avalon: This major renovation is on a steep sloping site with difficult access. We used extensive exposed hardwood timbers and natural materials in the construction, highlighting a high degree of quality workmanship.
• Mosman - Awaba Road: This architecturally designed major renovation, alterations, and additions of an existing home used high-quality materials, fixtures, and fittings. The extensive use of class one concrete finishes, zinc roof, and wall cladding, timber and polished floors, required workmanship to a very high standard.
• Mosman - Parriwi Road: This new architecturally designed home, pool, and landscaping optimises its elevated position, with three levels articulated to the northeast. The top floor boasts an 11.7-meter wide living area under 3-meter high ceilings with cantilevered support.
• Palm Beach - Florida Road: This double block project required screw piling and extensive curved roof form work. We used imported hand-laid ceramic roof tiles and custom-faced and curved brickwork, featuring the use of extensive curved roof form work.
• Palm Beach - Palm Beach Road: This architecturally designed new home, including the demolition of the existing dwelling, used various building techniques, including piling, Shotcrete, multiple concrete slabs, aluminium roofing and windows, tiled and timber floors, and quality joinery.
• Seaforth: This new architecturally designed home, pool, and landscaping was designed to use the most recent technological finishes.
• Vaucluse: Major luxury renovations, alterations, and additions to this existing home required a very high level of workmanship. We used premium level finishes, fixtures, and fittings throughout.
• Warriewood: Our design reflects its environment, part of and looks and is part of where it belongs whilst allowing its inhabitants to soak in its ocean vistas at every opportunity.
