At Nepean Valley Funerals, we are a local Penrith funeral company that is family owned and operated. We are dedicated to providing personalized care with genuine compassion, dignity, and respect to families in the Nepean Valley region and all suburbs of Sydney. Our team is led by husband and wife, Jim and Janet Mueller, who have grown up and lived in the Nepean Valley their whole lives and are passionate about their local area and community.
Our History
Our company is a 100% Australian family-owned business, established in 2014 by Jim and Janet Mueller. Jim had previously worked for a number of prominent funeral directors since a young age, but it was always his dream to run his own funeral home. With the support of his wife, Janet, they made it happen. To date, we have helped many hundreds of families through tough times and made many friends along the way.

We offer a range of services, including burial services, cremation services, Catholic funeral services, Christian funeral services, Orthodox funeral services, non-religious funeral services, and funerals on the water. Our team will guide you through the planning process, ensuring that every detail is taken care of, from the flowers to the music, to create a meaningful and memorable service.
Our Facilities
Our office is located at Shop 4, 2-6 Castlereagh Street, Penrith, and we also own and operate our own mortuary facility, fully approved by the Department of Health. We take pride in our modern dual-cab Holden Calais hearse, which we had built new in 2018.
