Our Services
At Blownaway Fishing Charters, we specialise in small group fishing charters, catering for a maximum of 6 people. This allows for a more personalised and intimate fishing experience, where our experienced crew can focus on ensuring you have the best possible chance of catching the big ones. We also cater for private charters, accommodating up to 7 people, perfect for corporate events, birthdays, or special occasions.
Our charters target big Red Emporer and Saddle Tail Snapper, fishing at depths of 40 to 60m. Our custom-built 8.5 metre (28 ft) vessel is designed for comfort and functionality, offering plenty of shelter, shade, and a 17-knot cruise speed. Departing from Yorkeys Knob marina, about 15km north of Cairns, travel time to the reef is approximately one hour.
Charter Options
We offer two charter options to suit your needs. Our day charter is an 8-hour trip, departing between 7am and 12 noon, and priced at $250 per person. Alternatively, you can charter the boat for the day for $1600, catering for a maximum of 7 people. For those looking for a more unique experience, our night charter is a 9-hour trip, priced at $300 per person, with the option to charter the boat for $1800, accommodating up to 6 people. Please note that all charters are BYO food and drinks.
Flexibility and Convenience
We understand that sometimes plans change, and that's why we offer the option to extend your charter at a rate of $150 per hour. All our prices include all government fees and charges, so you can be confident that there are no hidden costs.
