A Caring Approach to Your Pet's Well-being

West Pennant Hills Veterinary Hospital has been a trusted provider of veterinary services in the Hills District for over half a century. Our dedicated team of experienced veterinarians and skilled nurses are committed to delivering the best possible care for your beloved pets. We prioritise the wellbeing of your pets and work closely with you to ensure they stay happy and healthy.

Routine Healthcare

At West Pennant Hills Veterinary Hospital, we believe that regular examinations, appropriate preventative care, and knowledge-based advice are the keys to maintaining your pet's health. Our routine healthcare services include comprehensive health assessments, vaccinations, preventative medication, and desexing. We also offer home consultation services for pets that require extra care and attention in their own environment.

Clinical Services

Our hospital provides a range of medical, diagnostic, surgical, and dental services on-site. We have state-of-the-art equipment to perform diagnostic testing, pet dentistry, and radiography. Our team of veterinarians is highly skilled in medical treatment and surgical procedures, and we utilise visiting specialists and referral where appropriate.

Boarding

Our renovated, air-conditioned cattery can accommodate up to 14 cats, ensuring that your beloved feline friends are comfortable while you're away. The cattery offers a lovely garden view, providing a home-away-from-home experience for your cats.

Dog Grooming

Renee, our professional groomer, attends the practice twice a week and offers a range of services, including breed-specific styling. Her services are in high demand, so we recommend booking well in advance.

Pet Supplies

We stock a wide variety of premium products to assist the health and well-being of your pet. We carry a range of Hill's and Royal Canin prescription diets and provide over-the-counter treatments and supplements for numerous conditions, including arthritis, anxiety, skin irritations, or gastro-intestinal disorders. To ensure we have the right product for your pet, please email us with your product enquiry or order below.

Microchipping

Microchipping is a permanent form of identification for your pet. It involves the painless implantation of a tiny microchip, about the size of a grain of rice, beneath the skin. This procedure can be done during a routine veterinary visit and is a crucial step in ensuring your pet's safety and wellbeing.

Staff

Our team of veterinarians includes Dr Stephen Reis (BSc, BVSc), Dr Erin Grace (BVSc), Dr Fiona Thistlewood (BSc (Psych), BVSc), Dr Claude Stanislaus (BVSc, MANZCVS (Pharmacology)), Dr Leonie Kwok (BVSc), and Dr Emily Yan (BVSc).
