Our Vision
At Toshi's, we believe in the Japanese proverb, Kuru mono kaeru ga gotoshi, which translates to 'Relax like at Home'. Our vision is to create a welcoming and friendly environment, where you can feel at ease and free to enjoy the company of others. Our service is attentive and humble, and we aim to continually evolve and improve to provide a more pleasurable and memorable dining experience.
The Menu
Our menu is a celebration of Japanese cuisine, with a variety of options to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. For lunch, we offer a value for money 'Bento' box, which includes rice, miso soup, and a weekly rotation of other items. Our a la carte menu is also available for lunch, with a range of options including beef, pork, chicken, and fish. For dinner, we offer an extensive a la carte menu, seasonal specials, banquet and set menus, and a selection of homemade original ice creams and sorbets for dessert.
Dining Rooms
We have two dining rooms, each with its own unique atmosphere and style. Our 'western style' dining area consists of tables and chairs, and is open for lunch and dinner. Our 'Japanese style' dining room is a room like no other in the highlands, and is only open for dinner. Here, diners sit on a raised polished floor on 'zabuton' pillows, with their legs in a recess or trench. This style of seating is called "hori kotatsu", and is a very popular room for children.
Drinks
We have a carefully curated wine list, featuring a mix of local and international wines that complement our cuisine. We also have wine available by the glass, premium warm and cold sakes, original cocktails, and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages.

We cater to a variety of functions, from intimate dinners to large groups, and can tailor our banquet and set menus to suit your needs. We also offer takeaway options.
