Keppel Bay Sailing Club is a not-for-profit organisation that has been a cornerstone of the Yeppoon community since 1957. Established by a group of passionate and dedicated sailors and volunteers, our club has grown to operate from five venues, including The Clubhouse, The Spinnaker, Krackers Bar & Grill, Bilge Bar, and Club Emu Park. Our mission is to engage more people in outdoor recreation more often, while supporting the Capricorn Coast community with a strong commitment to youth initiatives.
Our Venues
Our venues offer a range of options for dining, entertainment, and socialising. The Clubhouse, although currently closed for redevelopment, has been a hub of activity for our members and guests. The Spinnaker is a family-friendly bistro with a big screen TV, great beachside deck, and a playground for kids. Krackers Bar & Grill is a quiet neighbourhood club with a bistro, gaming, and lawn bowls. Club Emu Park is a popular destination for live entertainment, functions, and social bowls.

Our History
Keppel Bay Sailing Club has a rich history, dating back to 1957 when a group of dedicated sailors and volunteers came together to establish a permanent clubhouse. In 1961, the club was offered the old skate rink and dance hall, which was developed into the current Clubhouse site. Today, we continue to strive for our original ethos: to engage more people in outdoor recreation more often and to support the Capricorn Coast community.
