Antique Toy World

Antique Toy World, a business that first opened its doors in 1996, has been a staple in the toy collecting community for over two decades. Founded by Peter Cozens in Cookson Street, Camberwell, the business quickly became a beloved destination for toy enthusiasts of all ages. In 2017, Peter relocated the business to the Camberwell Antique Centre, just a few doors away from its original location.

In April of 2019, Peter sold the business to Tony and Peta Howden, the owners of RecoverToy, a business that has been trading in die-cast model spares, repairs, and reproduction boxes since 1999. Marble Bay Pty Ltd now trades as both RecoverToy and Antique Toy World.

At Antique Toy World, we pride ourselves on our vast and diverse collection of toys. Our interests span a wide range of children's pastimes, from Lego bricks and Meccano to board games, die-cast and plastic toys, cap guns, and cowboy items. We believe that every toy has a story to tell, and we are dedicated to preserving and sharing these stories with our customers.

Our collection includes both complete and damaged toys, as well as those in need of repair or parts. We understand that the value of a toy often lies in the memories and emotions it evokes, rather than its physical condition. That's why we are committed to helping our customers find the toys that matter most to them, regardless of their condition.

Tony, one of the new owners, has been collecting toys for over 30 years. His personal collection can be viewed on his website, Tony's Toys. His passion for toys is evident in the care and attention he brings to every aspect of the business.

In addition to our physical locations, we also operate stalls in a number of markets around Victoria and have an eBay store. Our main location is at the Camberwell Antique Centre in Cookson Street, Camberwell. We have display cases and websites that showcase a wide variety of toys, including transport items, books, games, and contemporary high-quality collectors display items.

*In-stock range of Neo, Matrix, Ixo, Oxford, Spark, and Corgi Classics Scale Models: We have a growing range of in-stock scale models from various manufacturers, including Neo, Matrix, Ixo, Oxford, Spark, and Corgi Classics.

*Retired models: We have many retired models that are no longer available from the factory. Our collection includes rare and hard-to-find toys and collectables.

*Search for old stock Lledo Days Gone and Matchbox Models of Yesteryear: We have a selection of old stock Lledo Days Gone and Matchbox Models of Yesteryear toys and collectables.
