Take the first step towards a happier, healthier you!
At Step Forward Psychology, we believe that our health plays a significant role in the quality of life that we enjoy. While most people understand the importance of physical health, not everyone knows how to achieve good mental health and overcome psychological problems such as anxiety and depression. As an experienced psychologist, Dr. Lyndel Cuesta, we can help you develop the skills you need to better manage this important element of your total wellbeing.
Our Approach
We take a holistic approach to psychology, using evidence-based therapies that have been shown to be effective. We will work together to identify and explore your problems and the factors that have contributed to them. In this way, you will develop a better understanding of what you are experiencing and why. Together, we will create a treatment program that makes sense to you and interests you, so that you will feel motivated and empowered to work towards improvement.
Our Services
We offer a range of services to help you overcome common psychological problems. If you're feeling anxious, we can work with you to help you gain a sense of greater control over your anxiety, so that you can feel more calm more often. If you're feeling low or unmotivated, we can explore what is making you feel so bad, and then identify and implement the practical and emotional skills that will help you to get back to enjoying today and begin to look forward to tomorrow. We can also help you cope with work and study stress, grief and loss, and even help you find more joy and balance in your life.

With a B.A Hons Psychology and Phd Psychology, Dr. Lyndel Cuesta is a highly qualified and experienced psychologist. We use evidence-based therapies that have been shown to be effective, and work with you to create a treatment program that makes sense to you and interests you.
Lack of Follow-Up and Report Issues
Tamie Matthews rated her experience with Emma 2 stars. Although Emma was pleasant in person and interacted well with her daughter, the rating is based on poor customer service and issues with the report. The report contained spelling mistakes and was not accompanied by a detailed explanation or follow-up session to discuss the report's contents.
