- *Reconstructive Surgery*: Our reconstructive surgery services are designed to restore form and function after illness or injury. These procedures include skin cancer reconstruction, hand and wrist surgery, and head and neck surgery.
- *Skin Cancer*: We offer a variety of skin cancer treatments, from minor excisions to complex reconstructive procedures. Our goal is to remove the cancer, while minimising scarring and preserving function.
- *Hair Restoration*: We offer the latest in hair restoration techniques, including follicular unit extraction (FUE) and follicular unit transplantation (FUT). These procedures can help restore a natural, youthful appearance to those experiencing hair loss.
HAIR RESTORATION
Hair loss can be a distressing experience, but with the latest in hair restoration techniques, you can restore a natural, youthful appearance. At Plastic Surgery Queensland, we offer both follicular unit extraction (FUE) and follicular unit transplantation (FUT) procedures. During FUE, individual hair follicles are extracted from a donor area and transplanted to the recipient area. This technique leaves minimal scarring and allows for a faster recovery time. During FUT, a strip of skin containing hair follicles is removed from the donor area and transplanted to the recipient area. This technique can result in a linear scar, but may be more suitable for those with extensive hair loss.
