Tom Eisner was tasked with approximately 15m of black shade cloth being installed on a raked pergola, fixed down with staples and timber screws as well as hoop iron (sprayed monument colour to match) for extra strength. Tensioned wire was also installed underneath the shade cloth to restrict its movement in heavy winds. Existing rafters were replaced and paint matched due to timber rot with one extra rafter being added in for more strength for the shade
cloth. Tom made sure the shade cloth across the entire length was skin tight! From the outset he demonstrated high level preparation skills, was thoroughly professional, operated with first class workmanship, had a fantastic work ethic, left the worksite spotlessly clear and was exceptionally respectful and friendly. Tom is an absolute legend who demonstrated great pride in his work. Very much appreciated and would highly recommend him and Deadshort Services!

Meave helped me installed 3 sets of new hot and cold shower and laundry tap levers this week. I was very impressed by her professionalism and excellent customer service. Update: July 2024 - We needed a gas leak to be identified and Rory from Deadshort (Plumbing and gas fitting services) was so patient and thorough and found the leaks and resolved the problem. We were so unhappy with a previous plumber (Upside Down plumbing or Jims plumbing) who came the day before and could not find the leak but charged us an exorbitant fee! Deadshort provides honest, top quality and excellent service. Thank you!!

Michael came out on time, introduced himself and went straight to work not wasting anytime. He was polite and friendly, explaining the problem. He knew exactly what he was doing and finished the magna latch installation professionally. I highly recommend this person and Darcy the owner in coordinating the visit in a very satisfactory time frame. Good service is still around, they have restored my belief.

I recently had my fence replaced by Deadshort, and I couldn't be more impressed with Darcy & Michael! Despite the extreme heat, they showed up on time and worked tirelessly to get the job done. They handled the hot conditions with professionalism, making sure everything was done with precision and care. My new fence looks awesome, and they cleaned up everything when they were done. I highly recommend them!
