Physiotherapy
Our Physiotherapists are a keen and motivated team who help you recover from injury, reduce your pain, improve your fitness, reduce your injury risk and help you get the most out of your life. We love helping people achieve their goals and perform to the best of their ability.
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
Our Pelvic Health Physiotherapists treat pain and medical conditions related to the pelvis. This includes continence, urinary and anorectal symptoms, women's health, pregnancy and pessary fittings. At Up and Active, all genders are welcome, and we treat all ages, including children from four years.
Exercise Physiology
Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists are university-educated allied health exercise professionals who assess, design, and plan exercise programs tailored to the individual. Our team has the knowledge and skills to work with acute, sub-acute and chronic medical conditions, injuries, and disabilities.
Corporate Assessments
Ideal sitting, standing, and working postures can be difficult to attain due to the repetitive or sustained nature of most work and many recreational or home duties. Ergonomic advice forms part of a regular physiotherapy treatment plan. However, Up & Active can also be contacted to conduct formalized workplace ergonomic assessments and training in the workplace, individualized to the business and clients' needs.
Our Team
Our team is comprised of experienced and qualified professionals who are passionate about helping others. We prioritize continuing professional development education both within the facility and from external training providers. Each fortnight, we meet for case reviews or skills development and twice a quarter, we have extended education sessions.
