Our Dance Classes
At EK Dance Academy, we offer a wide range of dance styles to suit all tastes and abilities. From the elegant positions of Ballet to the funky style of Hip Hop, we have a class for everyone. We have something for everyone, from young to old, so there is no better time to get dancing!
Our classes include:
- Classical Ballet: the foundation of all dance technique
- Pointe: with a strong focus on building ankle and leg strength
- Contemporary/Lyrical: combines the techniques of jazz, contemporary, and ballet
- Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT): to help students advance in all dance forms by training muscle memory
- Jazz: incorporates technique such as kicks, turns, and leaps and is great for developing flexibility and fitness
- Tap: focuses on the rhythm that is kept by the noise of the dancer's shoes on the floor
- Hip Hop: a free, funky, and soulful expression of movement
- Musical Theatre: Join us for singing, acting, dancing, and movement skills in a variety of musical theatre performing styles
- Silver Swans Ballet: focusing on the same foundations as Classical Ballet but tailored for more mature bodies. For adults age 40+ (Erin Kerr - Silver Swans Licensee)
- Acrobatics: increase your agility, strength, and flexibility, develop core strength with lifts, tumbling and balancing positions.

Our mission is to provide professional dance instruction which will enable each student to develop, to the best of their ability and full potential, their skills and appreciation for the Art of Dance in a friendly, family, caring, fun, safe, and high-quality studio environment.
We strive to create a positive, fun, and caring family environment where students can learn and grow as dancers and as individuals. We are committed to providing the highest quality instruction and helping our students achieve their goals, whatever they may be.
Our Studio
In 2019, we opened our brand new dance studio in Willetton, in the southern suburbs of Perth. With a range of new classes plus new days and times, we are planning to make 2024 even bigger and better!
Our studio is a place where students can come to learn, grow, and express themselves through dance. We are proud of our studio and the community we have built here.
