Welcome to Rhee Taekwondo Perth & Fremantle, your premier Taekwondo school in the Perth and Fremantle region. Our martial arts academy is dedicated to providing a comprehensive and expert training program for individuals of all ages and skill levels.
Our History
Approximately 1300 years ago, during the Silla Dynasty in Korea, an ancient form of unarmed combat - known today as Tae-Kyon - evolved. Over time, this ancient Art of Tae-Kyon has spread widely throughout the world and is now known as various forms of Tae Kwon Do. At Rhee Taekwondo, we pride ourselves on our dynamic techniques of unarmed combat for self-defensive purposes, combining the skilled application of powerful punches, flying kicks, blocks, dodges, and interceptions. Our practitioners use well-trained hands, arms, and feet to effect the rapid immobilization of any attacker.
Our Instructors
All of our instructors are personally selected and officially appointed by World Master Chong Chul Rhee. To meet World Master Rhee's rigorous standards, instructors must demonstrate extremely high technical understanding and application of Rhee Taekwondo techniques and hold a minimum of a first-degree black belt. Our instructors also possess impeccable morals and values that align with the core values of Rhee Taekwondo: courtesy, respect, integrity, and self-control. They undergo extensive training and mentorship under the guidance of World Master Rhee himself.

World Master Rhee
World Master Chong Chul Rhee is the official Founder of Taekwondo in Australia, World Master Instructor and Chief Examiner for Australia and New Zealand, President of the Taekwondo Instructors Federation of Australia and New Zealand. With vast international experience, World Master Rhee has led instructor training programs for various elite groups, including the Korean Marines, Police Force, students at universities, colleges, and members of the public.
