We launched our business in 2011 with a dream to improve the quality of life of many individuals by improving their ability to communicate with the world around them.

Our Founder: Rebekah Goburdhun
Rebekah Goburdhun is a registered speech pathologist with over 12 years of experience. She founded Designed 2 Shine Speech Pathology in 2011 with a passion for helping individuals improve their communication skills. Rebekah has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in working with children with a range of speech and language-related issues. She has had experience working in a variety of contexts, including rural N.S.W., an orphanage in South-East Asia, Community Health, Hospital and Outreach services, public and private school settings, and suburban private practice in Melbourne.
Rebekah loves people, travelling, and cultures, and gets a buzz from working in the areas she does. She enjoys teaching children important skills that improve their present situations as well as their futures. Rebekah gains satisfaction from helping individuals from international backgrounds to speak with clarity and confidence, which ultimately makes a significant difference to their vocational and personal life.
