Questions
What is included in a paint quote?
Labour and materials are included. Prime Cost items like scaffolding, feature walls, or travel costs are billed separately.
What costs are involved in house painting?
Labour accounts for 85% of costs. Older homes may require specialist ceiling repairs to preserve historical integrity.
Why do painting quotes differ so much?
Quotes vary based on business structure, team size, and overhead costs. Registered companies have higher operational expenses than sole traders.
Does paint dry well in winter?
Paint requires temperatures above 8°C to dry properly. We use room heaters but avoid moisture buildup on cold walls.
