Our History
C W Henstock and Associates Pty Ltd was an established engineering consultancy firm that provided engineering services for over 30 years. The company's portfolio included a number of significant projects ranging from bridge designs in Tasmania to carparks, retaining walls, seawalls, buildings, and maritime structures. The company served as Planning and Design Consultants to several organizations for Civil Engineering activities in the field of waterfront development and recreational and tourist-related facilities. C W Henstock and Associates Pty Ltd were also Design Consultants to two major marina development companies with marina facilities in NSW and facilitated remedial/refurbishment and expansion works for a number of other marinas.
In 1998, Mr. P. Myooran, an NPER3 Chartered Structural and Civil Engineer joined the company as Engineering Design Manager, responsible for all Civil, Maritime and Structural engineering works undertaken within the organization.
JHK and Associates Pty Ltd took over the projects handled by C W Henstock & Associates Pty Ltd in June 2019, acquiring the permanent professional personnel and operating under the name C W Henstock and Associates (CWHA).
Our Experience
C W Henstock and Associates Pty Ltd was experienced in working with local councils as consultants to prepare concept and masterplans, detailed design for tender and construction, supervision of construction and certification of as-constructed works, preparation of documentation for tender and contract, visual inspections, and condition assessments of existing assets with prioritized remedial recommendations. The company has worked with councils such as Liverpool City, Ryde City, Shellharbour City, Shoalhaven City, Sutherland Shire, Parramatta City, Hawkesbury Shire, and Melbourne City Councils.
C W Henstock and Associates Pty Ltd provided consulting engineering services to numerous marina operations in New South Wales, including The Anchorage Marina, Port Stephens, and Princes Street Marina, Newport, among others. The company was responsible for the design and documentation of numerous public boat launching facilities and associated coastal works, design and documentation for both commercial and private recreational water facilities, and structural analysis and assessment of existing facilities.
