Edmiston & Taylor is a Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy business based in South East Queensland, providing services Australia-wide to a variety of clients, including individual homeowners, businesses, corporate bodies, state and federal government departments, and local authorities. The firm was commenced in 1979 and is owned and operated by Bruce and Noeleen Taylor from their office in Closeburn, Queensland, which enables them to readily service the Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and Greater Brisbane area, including the Samford Valley and Dayboro regions. However, the firm's project locations are not limited to these regions and includes projects as far afield as Sydney, Far West New South Wales, Central Queensland, Cape York Peninsula, and the Torres Strait.

Civil & Structural Engineering Services

Building Modifications and Renovations: Pre-purchase engineering inspections, removal house strengthening, structural problems and repairs.

Subdivisional Development: Engineering design, Council approvals, and construction supervision or inspection associated with rural, rural residential, and urban developments, including roadworks, drainage, sewerage, and water supply works.

New Building Structures: Engineering components of housing (foundations and unusual components, large beams, etc.), sheds, swimming pools, and planning and design of large commercial and industrial buildings.

Retaining Walls: Design and construction of retaining walls for both residential and commercial projects.

Roadworks and Stormwater Drainage: Design and construction of major roadworks for local and state road authorities, as well as small property driveways, floodways, and culverts.
