Brisbane Decks and Renovations is a family-owned business located in Brisbane North, servicing all of Brisbane and the outer-northern suburbs. We have over a decade of building and construction experience, specialising in transforming homes to suit the modern South East Queensland lifestyle. Decks

We use a range of quality hardwood, softwood, composite and laminate decking products appropriate to your taste, budget and property. With an extensive range of materials available, we will custom design your outdoor space to suit your needs. We recommend a consult pre-planning phase to provide assistance with selection of products and features.

Renovations

We can assist with a range of renovation projects from bathroom makeovers to the creation of new living spaces and major home extensions and transformations. We will work together with you to help transform your vision into a practical and appealing addition to your home. From initial enquiry through to final handover, you deal directly with the Licenced Builder, Darren. Our Team

Darren and Chani Barrett started DNC Holdings Pty Ltd in 2010 (originally trading as Local Lads for Hire) and trading as Brisbane Decks and Renovations from 2015 in response to Darren receiving the new QBCC licence category of Builder - Low Rise. Prior to this, Darren successfully worked as a qualified Carpenter and Sole Trader for 7 years in the residential construction industry, building decks, carports, patios, house extensions, general renovations and flood damage repairs.

Our employee and subcontractor family includes labourers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, plasterers, fabricators, painters, concreters and landscapers, all of whom have had a long and trusted relationship with us and we consider them to be part of the Brisbane Decks and Renovations extended family.
