Our Capabilities

Dredging Systems has the equipment and skills to work on underwater pipelines, bridges, wharves, dam walls, pump inlets, and other civil/industrial systems. Our team specializes in dealing with dredged material, with equipment and skills to dewater, dry, treat, and dispose of mud, tailings, sand, weed, rubbish, and other underwater material. We complete both hydraulic work (cutter-suction dredging) and mechanical dredging (excavator and weed rake work).

Our Story

Dredging Systems has worked in underwater dredging and underwater construction since 1995. We have unique equipment and skills to tackle all dredging, underwater civil, marine weed, and underwater clean-up projects. We have successfully completed projects for mining companies, oil refineries, government agencies, marinas, and private properties. Our equipment is built to mine specifications, and all teams are trained to work safely and efficiently in large mines and sensitive environmental and historical sites. We operate across Australia, PNG, and Singapore.

Our Projects

We have completed numerous projects, including weed and sediment dredging, dewatering, and disposal for Macquarie University, dredging and dewatering of Narabeen Lagoon, coal tailings ponds maintenance, and marina dredging. We take pride in our ability to work on complex projects that require innovative solutions and careful planning.

Our Equipment

We operate a modern fleet of cutter suction, mechanical, and remote-controlled dredges. In addition, we use discharge pipelines, barges, and associated booster pumping equipment to enable material transportation over more than 4 kilometers. All dredges and barges can be dismantled for road transportation. Our fleet is built to mine specifications, supported by a full complement of land and water-based equipment.
