Our Story
Founded by Matt Wilson, Epiphyte is a passion project that began as a young man's fascination with the Daintree Rainforest. After returning to the area in 1988, Matt fell in love with the land and purchased land to build a sustainable eco-lodge, now known as Epiphyte Bed & Breakfast. With a focus on environmentally friendly practices, our accommodation features solar power and rainwater harvesting, ensuring a minimal carbon footprint.
