Our Commitment to Your Comfort
To do that, we allow plenty of time for your appointment so that we can chat about any concerns you have. We take lots of time to listen to you and to put you at ease. We like to think it's the extra little things that matter too. We offer new magazines to read while you are waiting, party bags and iPads for your children, blankets, and SMS confirmation of your appointments. If you have a busy schedule and can't get here during normal clinic hours, call us (during clinic hours) to schedule an out-of-hours appointment.
Our Clinic
Our clinic is conveniently located in the Mackay CBD with parking right at the door or within just a few meters. Your safety and well-being are of paramount importance. Infection control and cleanliness is of ultimate importance to us. Our infection control is above that of the standards required, and we achieve that by:

- Instrument sterilisation, tracking and traceability
- Well-maintained facilities with uncluttered surfaces and smooth lines, which allow for thorough cleaning and disinfection
- We even clean our air conditioning unit regularly!
Technology
Our special intraoral cameras show you what your mouth and teeth look like, this helps you to understand your diagnosis and options for treatment. Plush leather padded dental chairs have been selected with your comfort in mind. Ceiling mounted televisions in the treatment rooms provide entertainment (and a good distraction) during your appointments.

Our dentist and team are all locals who grew up in this area. All are well-trained, credentialed, and experienced and are here to help you, and to make your visit to the dentist comfortable and stress-free. They are happy to answer any questions you may have.
Our Practice
Debra Brown Dental is owned and operated by Dr. Debra Brown, who is a true local. She was born in Mackay and grew up surrounded by cane fields in Calen north of Mackay. She attended school in Calen and Mirani before moving to Brisbane to study at The University of Queensland. After graduating with Honours, she started her working life as a dentist at Mackay Base and has worked in the region since then. In 2012 she established her own clinic in Mackay providing her patients with the best dentistry has to offer.
