Joy Beans Organic Coffee is a business that was born out of a love for travel and a appreciation for the simple pleasure of a great cup of coffee. Our journey began when we decided to leave everything behind and travel the world, eager to discover new adventures and experiences. As we journeyed through Hawaii, the Rocky Mountains of Canada, California, Central America, and South America, we were captivated by the diverse flavours of coffee that each town, city, and country had to offer. This ignited a passion in us to share these unique coffee experiences with the world.
Our love for coffee went beyond just tasting it. We wanted to delve deeper into the world of coffee, and so we spent time visiting coffee farms, meeting growers, and learning about the process of growing, sourcing, and roasting coffee. Along the way, we met incredible people who shared their stories and experiences with us. It was during our time at Mision Mexico in Tapachula, Mexico that the idea of Joy Beans coffee was born. We wanted to create a product that would not only highlight the work of Mision Mexico but also provide a source of revenue to help in the running of this children's refuge.
