Limestone Medical Centre has been proudly servicing Ipswich for over 100 years. We are located on the traditional lands of the Jagera, Yuggera and Ugarapul People. Our History
Limestone Medical Centre was started in 1920 by Dr. Gilmore Wilson and has been providing quality healthcare in Ipswich ever since. We're located close to the CBD, with our entrance and undercover parking on Thorn Street between the Brisbane and Limestone Street intersections. We're one of the area's longest standing medical practices and a part of the community. We are actively involved in improving healthcare in Ipswich. Members of our practice have been instrumental in developing and improving services like Ipswich Hospice and the West Moreton Cardiac Rehabilitation service. We're involved in residential care services and in exploring opportunities to work with hospital services to provide patients with great care.

We offer a full suite of GP services, trying as much as possible to centralise your healthcare "under the one roof" to make it convenient for you to stay healthy. Our chronic disease management, skin check and preventative health assessments help us to partner with you in maintaining your good health. Our dedicated doctors are supported by staff committed to the highest level of patient service. Our doctors have a range of special interests, including chronic disease management, skin health, women's and reproductive health, and veteran health. We also have a DVA specialist on site.
