Design Process

Our design process begins with an initial site visit and consultation, free of charge, to discuss your requirements. Following the site assessment and rough survey, we will explain the costs of the various design options to you.

We offer two types of design plans: an outline plan and a detailed plan. An outline plan involves taking a detailed brief from you and presenting a written summary of this brief to you. Once accepted, an outline plan is drawn up, covering the major building blocks of your garden as well as types of materials. A sketch will also be presented to you to show you how the finished garden will look.

A detailed plan, on the other hand, involves taking a detailed brief from you, as in the Outline Plan, but also covers planting. A precise survey is taken of your garden, and a sketch of the design is presented to you. You will then have the opportunity to make changes to the design.

At Striking Landscapes, we offer a comprehensive landscaping service that will provide you with the means to construct your chosen design. We work with a range of preferred suppliers, including Plantsource, Premier Pavers, Mentone Premix, and Edwards Slate, to ensure that we use only the highest quality materials in our projects.
