Our Expertise

Our Headmaster, Kaicho Hoosain Narker, is a black belt martial artist with over 45 years of experience in various styles of martial arts, including Ashihara Karate, Kyokushin, Goju Ryu, and Taekwondo. He has a vast knowledge of many major styles of martial arts and has shared his skills not only in South Africa but around the world.

Our History

Ashihara Karate International was founded by Hoosain Narker in 1980 in Cape Town, South Africa. Since then, we have grown into a global organization with members from all over the world. We have hosted several international events, including the Ashihara Karate World Cup, and we continue to promote the development of karate as a sport and as a way of life.
