Our Services

Our restaurant offers a range of exquisite dishes for lunch and dinner, including gluten-free options, tapas, and special menus for kids. We are open Monday to Saturday, from 11:30 am to 9:30 pm, and offer take-away services as well. Our catering services extend to conferences, corporate events, weddings, and special occasions around Cairns, Port Douglas, and Palm Cove. Our team of experienced event planners and chefs work together to create unique and memorable events that exceed our clients' expectations.

Our Story

In 1994, our owner and director, Craig Squire, opened the doors to Ochre Restaurant with a mission to create the ultimate modern Australian food experience. Today, we have evolved into a well-established institution, known for our commitment to quality, sustainability, and exceptional service. In 2016, we moved to our current location on the Harbour Lights boardwalk, offering stunning views of the inlet and surrounding mountains.

Our Team

Our team is led by Craig Squire, who has been recognized internationally for his culinary expertise. Our Managing Director, Carley, oversees the day-to-day restaurant service and manages off-site events. Together, our team of experienced chefs, event planners, and hospitality professionals work harmoniously to provide our clients with unforgettable dining experiences.
