Our History
Ballina Heritage Inn has a rich history dating back to the 1840s, when it was established on the northern shores of the picturesque Richmond River. Over the years, our motel has been meticulously restored to maintain its original charm while providing modern amenities and comforts for our guests.
Our Rooms
At Ballina Heritage Inn, we offer a range of comfortable and spacious rooms to suit different needs. Our rooms are equipped with luxurious 'beard' queen beds, quality appliances, and modern amenities, including flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and microwaves. Our rooms also have opening windows, are air-conditioned, and have either a balcony or courtyard. Every room is non-smoking and has a private en-suite bathroom.
Our Facilities
In addition to our comfortable rooms, Ballina Heritage Inn offers a range of facilities to make your stay with us even more enjoyable. Our motel has a saltwater pool, a laundry, and undercover parking for 13 vehicles. We also provide cots and dry-cleaning facilities on request.

Ballina Heritage Inn is strategically located 15 minutes from Byron Bay, just five minutes from the Ballina Gateway Airport, 1.5 hours from Brisbane in the south, and about an hour south of the world-famous Gold Coast. Our motel is easily accessible from Sydney, Brisbane, and other major cities in Australia.
Booking and Reception Hours
We are open from 9 am to 6 pm from Monday to Friday and 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday. You can book our beautiful heritage rooms online, by phone, or via email, and we will send you a prompt confirmation via email of your booking. If you need to check in outside of our reception hours, please contact us to make alternative arrangements.
