About Dr. Roy Wyatt

Dr. Roy Wyatt is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). He holds a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology from La Trobe University and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Victoria University of Wellington. Dr. Wyatt is also a Psychology Board-endorsed Supervisor, allowing him to provide supervision and training to other psychologists and trainees. With a no-nonsense and frank approach, Dr. Wyatt is known for his supportive and non-judgmental counseling style.

Clinical Psychology Services

Clinical psychology involves the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of major mental illnesses and psychological problems. As a Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Wyatt provides individual and group therapy for adults aged 20 years and over. He works with clients struggling with issues such as:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a therapy approach that focuses on the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and actions. Dr. Wyatt uses CBT to help clients understand how their thoughts and behaviors contribute to their emotional and mental health issues. This approach is effective in reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions.

Professional Supervision

As an AHPRA-endorsed Supervisor, Dr. Wyatt provides professional supervision and training to psychologists and mental health practitioners. He supports and guides his supervisees to develop their skills and expertise in the field.

Fees and Pricing

Consultation sessions are 50-55 minutes in length, and our standard consultation fee is $225. Medicare rebate is available for clients referred by a General Practitioner under a Mental Health Care Plan. The cost to the client is $87.95 (gap after rebate). We also accept EFTPOS payments, including Visa and MasterCard.
