Clear Communication and Good Service: Abigail Whyte had a positive experience with the removal company, mentioning that they messaged her to inform about being late, had clear pricing, and the team did a great job. She expressed her willingness to use the company again and recommend them to others.
Unprofessional and Unreliable: Most of the negative reviews shared common issues, including slow pace, lack of transparency, and overcharging. Keet C. mentioned that the removal team handled her furniture with care, but Chen Jiajun and Kim S. had extremely poor experiences.
Specific Issues and Complaints: Chen Jiajun's experience was perhaps the most concerning, with the team taking over 10 minutes to move a couch, having their phones out, and smoking while working. They also left some furniture behind, had an unnecessary 30-minute lunch break, and charged exorbitantly. Kim S. had a similar experience, including being told to leave her apartment due to alleged allergies, being charged almost $2000 for a 1km move, and being forced to sign without being able to review the documents.
Additional Complaints and Concerns: Chen Jiajun also mentioned that the team didn't disassemble larger items, which did not contribute to the delay, and that they charged for a piano that was not even present at the scene. Kim S. noted that she had to do most of the work herself, including bringing items up to her apartment, and felt intimidated by the removal team.
