Our Team

Our experienced dentists, Dr Nadavin Soma and Dr Dennes Soma, bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our practice. Both dentists graduated from the University of Otago in New Zealand, with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2006. Since then, they have worked in various public and private sectors in both NSW and Victoria, gaining extensive experience in a wide range of dental procedures.

- Fillings: We offer tooth-coloured composite resin materials for filling decayed teeth, which are suitable for both back and front teeth. Our dentists take a preventive approach to dentistry and strive to preserve as much natural tooth structure as possible.
- Teeth Whitening: At Bentleigh Family Dental, we offer custom-made teeth whitening trays to help you achieve a brighter and more confident smile. Our whitening process involves wearing the trays for a few hours every night for two weeks, with noticeable results achieved in as little as two weeks.
- Root Canal Therapy: Our dentists are experienced in performing root canal therapy to treat dead or dying nerve tissue inside your tooth. This procedure involves cleaning and disinfecting the nerve canals inside the root of your tooth over a few dental appointments, followed by the placement of root canal filling material to prevent further infection. A crown is typically placed over the tooth after root canal treatment for long-term strength and protection.
- Extractions: While we strive to save teeth where possible, sometimes it is better to remove a tooth rather than keeping it. Our dentists are skilled in performing safe and comfortable extractions, ensuring minimal discomfort and rapid healing.

At Bentleigh Family Dental, we accept all health funds and are preferred providers for BUPA, Medibank, and HCF. We are committed to providing high-quality dental care at an affordable price, and we bulk bill dental services for eligible patients aged 2-17 through the Child Dental Benefits Schedule.
