SkillsConnection is a non-government and not-for-profit organisation based in Colac, Victoria. We're dedicated to empowering people with disabilities to take control of their lives and achieve greater independence through personalized support and opportunities.
Supporting Individuals with NDIS Funding
The NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) provides funding for individuals with disabilities to access supports and services tailored to their specific needs. SkillsConnection is a registered NDIS provider and offers a comprehensive range of services to help you navigate the NDIS process and achieve your goals.
Our services include
- Support Coordination: We can guide you through the process of understanding and accessing NDIS funding, developing your plan, and coordinating the delivery of your services.
- Plan Management: We can work with you to create a personalized plan that meets your unique needs and goals. We'll also manage the communication and coordination with your service providers to ensure that you receive the support you need.
Disability Services and Support
In addition to NDIS-funded services, we also offer:
- Catering: Food-A-Roma, our NDIS-registered catering business, provides delicious and healthy meals delivered straight to your home or workplace.
- Australian Disability Enterprises (A.D.E.) Services: We offer support to job seekers with disabilities to prepare for and find meaningful employment.
- Disability Support: We provide support and guidance to individuals and their families navigating the challenges associated with disability.

False Advertising and Poor Experience
There appears to be some discrepancy regarding the purpose and effectiveness of the organization. One reviewer, Braydyn Harrington, claims they were misled about the nature of their work and were instead placed in a situation they felt was inappropriate and scamming money from their efforts.
Despite the helpful and friendly staff and company, Braydyn suggests that the organization is part of a larger conspiracy to commit pedophile acts in the Colac and surrounding areas. This reviewer's experience is marked by feelings of anger, betrayal, and hurt.
Mixed Experience
On the other hand, Denise Greenslade had a positive experience with the organization, accrediting the staff and company for their helpful and friendly attitude towards her and her problems.
