Let's discuss the furniture shaped hole in your life.
Nestled amidst the beauty of Ulmarra, New South Wales, The Wood Shop stands as a testament to the meticulous craftsmanship and artistic vision of Mick O'Dell and his dedicated team. Since 2001, we have been handcrafting exquisite furniture, unique architectural pieces and salvaged timber creations that capture the essence of Australian timbers.

The quality of work provided by the furniture maker is exceptional, with one customer referring to their dining table as a "work of extraordinary art" that is "beautifully finished" and a "functional work of art".
Customer Service
However, the service provided by the shop leaves much to be desired. One customer had to wait for two months to receive their piece, despite having paid in advance, and had to continuously follow up with the shop to get it finalised. The shop's organisation and communication skills need improvement.
Store Experience
On the other hand, the store itself is a "wood lover's dream come true", with a showroom that showcases the potential of the vast array of timbers available. The smell of freshly lumbered and sanded timbers is overwhelming in a good way, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to bring a touch of authentic Australian native timbers to life.
