A place for everyone to enjoy, where the sun sets and the fun sets in

Located in the heart of Kalgoorlie, the Kalgoorlie Hotel has been a beloved institution in the city for over 123 years. The hotel has a rich history, dating back to 1897 when it was built just four years after Paddy Hannan discovered gold in the nearby area. Over the years, the hotel has had various owners, but it has always maintained its warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike.

Our Story

The hotel has undergone several transformations over the years, but its core spirit has remained the same. In the early 1960s, a timber cutter named Judd Marney purchased the hotel and renamed it Judd's. This name stuck, and the hotel became known for its friendly owner and excellent pub fare. However, in 2012, a new chapter began when Craig and Jennifer Alderdice purchased the hotel and decided to revert to its original name, the Kalgoorlie Hotel.
