Accommodations and Cleanliness
The Billabong has received praise for its stunning cabins, designed with thoughtfulness and comfort in mind. The furniture is comfortable, and the cabins create a "home away from home" feeling. However, some campers have reported that the amenities are lacking, with dirty kitchen facilities and showers. It's essential to note that one reviewer, Violaine Gabriel, specifically mentioned that the showers were clean, but the kitchen facilities were dirty.
Service
The service at the Billabong has been a mixed bag. Taylor Skinner had an exceptional experience with the host, Carmen, who provided phenomenal service, attention to detail, and understanding of individual needs. On the other hand, Jessica Hutchinson had a terrible experience with Carmen, who provided unacceptable customer service, including yelling and berating her for minor mistakes.
Value for Money
Roger Williams mentioned that the location is beautiful, but the amenities are poor, and he would not recommend it for a family getaway camp. He also stated that the site is more geared towards weddings, which can be a noise disturbance for campers. However, it's essential to note that the prices for campsites are not clearly listed, making it difficult to assess the value for money.
