Let's shape better places together
Who We Are
At BKK Architects, we are a Melbourne-based practice established in 2000, dedicated to delivering high-quality projects that transform public, infrastructural, residential, cultural, and educational spaces. Our team of professionals is committed to creating places that are not only visually stunning but also functional, sustainable, and socially responsible.
Our Philosophy
For us, architecture is not just about designing objects, but about the spaces in between. We believe that great design is tailoring a project to a site, budget, timeline, and the identity of the client. Great design opens up a world of functionality, is enjoyable, and lasts. It's about creating places that are stimulating, invigorating, healthy, and safe, and that look after the environment.

Sustainability
At BKK Architects, we believe that sustainability is urgent. As designers, we have a responsibility to make buildings and communities sustainable and regenerative. We have developed a Sustainability Action Plan, which is a roadmap to fulfilling our Australian Architects Declare pledges. We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and have implemented measures such as using 100% green energy and purchasing carbon credits to offset our business's carbon footprint.
Awards and Recognition
We are proud of our achievements and have received several accolades, including the 2022 Sustainability Advancement Award from the Australian Interior Design Awards.
Our Commitment to Reconciliation
We are committed to reconciliation and have launched our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), joining thousands of corporate, government, and not-for-profit organisations in formally endorsing Reconciliation Australia. We are proud to have come together with Reconciliation Australia to start the Architecture and Design Reconciliation Industry Network Group, where we are working with other practices towards implementing our RAP's and pooling knowledge, insights, and relationships that will inform Reconciliation.
