Problems with Food Quality and Service
Several reviewers had disappointing experiences with the food and service at this pub. Allan Guymer and Helen McCutcheon both rated the pub 1 star and mentioned that their meals were overcooked and of poor quality. Allan's chicken Kiev was described as being deep-fried and overcooked, while Helen's lamb cutlets were overcooked to the point of being burnt. Tim Lauder also felt that his crispy salmon was undersized for the price, finishing his meal in just 2 minutes.
Function and Party Events
On the other hand, Neil Brereton had a positive experience with his mum's 90th birthday party at the pub. He mentioned that everyone at the party enjoyed their meals, and he would recommend the pub for functions.
Good Quality Food and Service
