At Tani's Mobile Doggy Wash, we're a family-owned and operated business that's passionate about making a world of difference in the lives of our furry friends and their owners. Our story began in 2016, when our co-founders, Tania and Jaydan, decided to take the leap and turn their lifelong love of dogs into a business.
Our Story
Tania, a single mother of three, had always dreamed of working with dogs. After years of being stuck in dead-end jobs, she finally took the plunge and signed up for a dog grooming course. Jaydan, her son, was equally passionate about dogs and soon joined forces with his mother to create a mobile dog grooming service franchise. Originally, they planned to operate from their residential backyard in Mill Park, Victoria, but demand for their services quickly outgrew their initial plan. Within weeks, they were inundated with requests for appointments, and Tani's Mobile Doggy Wash was born.
With the help of a second-hand dog grooming trailer, Tania and Jaydan worked tirelessly to get the business off the ground. Tania hit the road, while Jaydan focused on advertising and marketing. The business took off, and within months, they were struggling to fit in any more appointments. Jaydan purchased another trailer and worked around the clock to get it on the road, and soon, their clientele built up steadily.

Services and Staff
Tani's Mobile Dog Wash has received mixed reviews from customers. Some reviewers have praised the services and staff, highlighting the friendly and caring nature of the groomers. Authors Mario Andreou, Cheryl Calvert, Ross, Tim Burgess, Chelsea Hollins, and Fern N. all gave the business 5-star ratings, with Mario and Cheryl mentioning the excellent job Jaydan did on their dogs, while Ross praised Tara's excellent grooming skills. Cheryl also appreciated the convenience of the mobile service and the low anxiety it caused for her Cavoodle, while Fern N. was pleased with Elizabeth's work on their dog's first grooming session.
Communication and Appointment Scheduling
However, there are also some concerns about communication and appointment scheduling. Roshan Alphonso gave the business a 1-star rating due to Jayden's lack of communication after cancelling an appointment, and Susie Liu was left waiting for over an hour and a half for an appointment that was supposed to start at 8am, only to have Jaydan fail to show up. Both Roshan and Susie felt that the business did not respond to their concerns or messages.
Grooming and Equipment
Two reviewers have expressed concerns about the grooming equipment. Ricky Henderson gave the business a 1-star rating after his dog was returned with a foot injury allegedly caused by a sharp metal edge on the grooming table. Susie Liu's appointment was also delayed due to the business's equipment issues, and she was left waiting for over an hour and a half.
