Poor Communication and Unhelpful Staff
Several reviewers have expressed frustration with the communication style of Purcell & Purcell Lawyers. Ayb and Helen Wyse felt that the lawyers were unhelpful and unwilling to provide basic information without charging exorbitant fees. Jamila Jamal had a particularly bad experience with the receptionist, who was rude and unempathetic.
Disorganization and Mistakes
Sandra Haslam's review highlights the firm's disorganization and carelessness. They sent important documents to the wrong address, and were slow to respond to questions. The family had to chase them multiple times to finalize settlement and release funds. Helen Wyse also had a bad experience, alleging that the lawyers slipped in an extra document for her to sign, which resulted in her having to pay landlord legal fees.
Unprofessional Behavior
Helen Wyse and Stephen Homer reported unprofessional behavior from the lawyers. They were rude on the phone, and even hung up on Helen's partner. Ayb felt that the firm's pricing was unreasonable, and Helen Wyse alleged that they tried to trick her into paying high prices.
