Nurturing, Educational and Fun!

Welcome to Kensington Community Children's Co-Operative (KCCC), a not-for-profit community-based organization that has been providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children from Kensington and surrounding areas since 1982. We are a child-safe organization committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, discover, and grow.

Our cooperative model is unique, governed by a dedicated group of parents with highly qualified and experienced staff. We are proud of our strong business profile and sound financial health, enabling us to focus on what is best for children rather than profits. We offer education and care to children from 6 weeks to school age, with a capacity of 140 children and 50 dedicated staff.

At KCCC, we recognise and value the primary role that families play in their children's lives. We foster strong partnerships with families to create the best learning opportunities for children. Our programs and shared spaces encourage collaboration and communication, exploration, and respect for children as capable and competent.

Our staff members' knowledge, experience, and commitment encourage children to have a positive attitude to challenge, learn, and respect. Our integrated teaching and learning approaches have a strong focus on child-directed play and learning that is driven by the child's interest to understand and know more.
