Our Services
Our team of over 40 Consulting General Practitioners and Allied Health Professionals, supported by our experienced practice nursing team, are dedicated to providing excellence in patient healthcare. We offer a broad range of services, including chronic disease management, mental health, immunisation and travel medicine, podiatry, diabetic education, and much more. We understand the importance of timely and convenient care, which is why we offer weekend appointments and after-hours care outside of normal clinic hours.

Outstanding Reputation
Ballarat General Practice (BGP) has a reputation for providing excellent medical care with a team of empathetic, professional, and friendly staff. Several reviewers have praised the practice for its outstanding service, citing the exceptional care provided by Dr. Oh, Dr. McG, Dr. Taylor, Dr. Litras, and Dr. Westbury. Reviewers have also commended the practice's receptionists for being helpful and friendly.
Communication and Care
Several reviewers have highlighted the excellent communication skills of the doctors at BGP. Dr. Oh, in particular, has received praise for being the best GP they have ever had. Reviewers have also appreciated the doctors' willingness to listen to their concerns and provide personalized care.
Issues and Concerns
Unfortunately, not all reviewers have had a positive experience at BGP. Two reviewers have reported issues with the practice's communication and care. One reviewer, Adam Gornalle, had a negative experience with Dr. Jordan McGarry, feeling interrogated and made to feel worthless. Another reviewer, Elizabeth, was disappointed with the practice's lack of availability, being told that she would have to pay $140 for her son to see a doctor and then being informed that there were no appointments available.
