Originally, the business consisted of individually owned and operated licenses, but in 1987, TWEED HEADS COOLANGATTA TAXI SERVICE Pty. Ltd became an incorporated company with a fleet of 13 taxis. Over the years, the fleet has undergone significant expansion, with additional vehicles added to the fleet to cater to the growing demand for taxi services. Today, our fleet consists of state-of-the-art vehicles, including 10 sedans, 2 station wagons, 2 taragos with 7-seat capacity, and 6 wheelchair-accessible maxi-taxis, as well as an additional wheelchair-accessible flash cab.

Our driver pool has also grown, with a team of approximately 80 drivers who have been with us for over 10 years. Many of our drivers have lived and worked in the Tweed for decades, ensuring that they have a deep understanding of the local community and can provide exceptional service to our customers. We take pride in our prompt and courteous service, with a remarkable 90% of our calls picked up within 15 minutes. Our fleet is maintained to the highest standards, with 95% of vehicles being less than 3 years old.
