Piano Lessons

Guitar Lessons

Our guitar lessons are also suitable for students at beginner to intermediate levels. We offer a range of lesson programs, including starter kits for beginners that cover the general skills of playing guitar, such as plectrum and finger-style technique, strumming chords, playing songs, and reading music. We also offer classical guitar lessons for students at entry-level to intermediate-level, with a focus on developing skills in melody, harmony, rhythm, and music notation.

Donald Porter, the founder of Piano and Guitar Lessons Canberra, has been teaching music for over 14 years. He has a thriving studio of over 30 piano and guitar students from diverse ages and backgrounds. Several of his students undertake Australian Music Examination Board studies, while others learn for recreation. Donald has studied classical piano and guitar for over 20 years, including under internationally-recognised teachers and performers.
At Piano and Guitar Lessons Canberra, we are committed to providing the best learning experience for our students. We offer flexible scheduling, with lessons available Monday through Thursday from 9am to 7pm and Saturdays from 10am to 1pm. Our studio is located at 22 Follett Street in Scullin, making us conveniently accessible for students in the Belconnen area.
