Trusted Disability Support Services in NSW
Brighter Access was established in 1979 by a group of parents seeking mutual support and respite for caring for family members with disabilities. Over four decades, we have grown into a registered NDIS provider operating across New England, Hunter, Central Coast, and Mid North Coast regions of New South Wales. Our team of 450+ staff shares a commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities through person-centred support aligned with our founding values of empathy, empowerment, and community inclusion. We specialise in Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), offering accessible housing solutions that promote independence and skill development. Our Behaviour Support Practitioners work closely with participants to develop positive strategies that improve quality of life through better communication and understanding.Community and In-Home Support services focus on capacity building, personal care, and social integration, while our purpose-built Hub spaces in Inverell and Tamworth provide safe environments for skill development and social interaction. We maintain partnerships with Enlarge Living and real estate agents to ensure modern, accessible housing options that respect participant choice in both home design and housemate selection. Our organisational culture remains rooted in the values of our grassroots origins, prioritising individualised support that respects personal choices, fosters community connections, and encourages personal growth through shared responsibility and mutual respect.
